A. Hmmm, interesting point. I wonder if he has considered the latest research finding by Jacobson and Elle.

B. Doesn’t he know that pointing is offensive in some cultures. He really shouldn’t be pointing.

C. Whoa! He was talking this whole time and I completely blanked out. Oh I hate it here, is it 5:00? I have a lot of Netflix to be watching. I’m so bored with this.

D. If he touches my screen, I might have to spend the night in jail. Prison food can’t be that bad right?

If you selected A, then sounds like things are going ok. If you selected anything else, you might want to chat.

See, pointing at something in an appropriate context is fine. But thoughts like this start making it hard to concentrate. You may be be feeling uncomfortable around your coworkers.

Coaching can help you to recognize these thought patterns and determine if they are helping you cope with a situation–or if they are making things harder for you.

If C or D sounded closer to your thoughts, maybe don’t hesitate too much to reach out.

Perhaps this blog post came from someone’s real life experiences (I promise I have lived this stuff, many times … in quite a few jobs).

Schedule a Free Call. Let’s get you farther from D and closer to A.
